For the third time this week, a Mets game has been postponed by wintry weather. As was the case in Colorado on Monday night, the team's game scheduled for this evening has been called off because of snow.
SNY's Kevin Burkhardt says it best:
Mets- Rockies postponed tonight. Ugh

Since Matt Harvey's dominant performance in Minnesota on Saturday, the Mets have played just two games, both of which were ugly losses in a doubleheader in frigid Denver yesterday. Per Marc Carig of Newsday, the teams will only play one game tomorrow at 3:10 pm EDT. Anthony DiComo of MLB.com has the details on the Mets' rotation for the next few games: Jon Niese tomorrow with Harvey, Jeremy Hefner, and Dillon Gee starting against the Nationals over the weekend.
There's plenty of anticipation surrounding Harvey's showdown with Stephen Strasburg here in New York on Friday night, where the forecast calls for a chance of rain. Here's hoping it's not enough to affect the game and the Mets actually play baseball for four days in a row starting tomorrow.
