AA - Binghamton Mets (81-50)_____________________________________
BINGHAMTON 3, AKRON 7 (Box)
I cant blame Binghamton for losing the day after they clinched their first regular season title since 2000, followed by a 7 hour road trip to Akron. I saw some pictures on the tweet box of celebrations involving beers--let's hope they kept Syndergaard out of the pictures--so I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the team was hungover for this one.

Star of the Night
On a light night for heroes, let's give the star to Dominic Smith for upping his season slash to the arbitrarily aesthetically pleasing line of .280/.380/.400.
Goat of the Night
With an 0-3 on Thursday, Stefan Sabol dropped his average below the Mendoza line to .199. Likewise his OBP dropped below .300 to .299. Needless to say, it's been a pretty unproductive season for the 2012 17th round draft pick.
