Mets release 2015 spring training schedule

Plan your trips to Port St. Lucie accordingly.

Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The Mets released their 2015 spring training schedule this morning. The first game takes place on March 3 against the Braves at Champion Stadium in Kissimee, Florida. The Mets play 33 games over the 32-day stretch, with split-squad games on the March 7 and March 19. March 18 is the only off day on the schedule.

There are 15 home games at Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie in 2015, and each game has a 1:10 PM start time. The other 18 games on the schedule are road games with varying start times. The schedule includes 16 games against divisional opponents, though there are no games against the Phillies. The Nationals, Marlins, and Cardinals are the team's most frequent opponents, accounting for six games each.

The Mets close spring training with two games against the Rangers at Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas on April 3 and 4. They have one day off before starting the season in Washington against the Nationals on April 6.
