The Mets cleared plenty of 40-man roster space yesterday, removing six players from their active roster. Two of those players were claimed on waivers by other teams.

Daisuke Matsuzaka has a four year offer from a team in Japan. Lucas Duda is also going to Japan but for a different reason.
