Vote for the 2014 MLB team of the year

The Giants, Royals, Angels, and Nationals are among the nominees for the 2014 MLB Team of the Year.

Peter G. Aiken-USA TODAY Sports

We have reached the final category of the 2014 SB Nation MLB Awards, which is also the only category not involving the Mets. Even if you think the Mets were the 2014 MLB Team of the Year, they are not eligible for this vote. Sorry.

The voting standards are open to interpretation here, so feel free to vote however you see fit. Think the Giants were the team of the year since they won the World Series? That's fine. Think the Angels were the team of the year since they had the best regular season record? That's fine, too.

Here are the nominees, in order from best to worst regular season record (click here for an explanation of FanGraphs BaseRuns).
