Howie Rose and Josh Lewin will return to the Mets' radio broadcast booth this year, according to ESPN New York. While Rose's return was all but a given from the outset, there had been rumblings that Lewin might not be back since the Mets signed their radio deal with WOR. That's great news for Mets fans.
Rose is simply one of the best in the business. And while he had several different partners in the booth over the last few years on WFAN, Lewin has been the best fit yet, as Rose's teammate and for the Mets. He joined the Mets' booth in 2012, replacing Wayne Hagin.
With the radio duo intact, there's no question that the Mets still have the best group of broadcasters in the game. WOR is set to broadcast fifteen spring training games this year.
