Mets GIF: Wilmer Flores can play a little shortstop

Wilmer Flores lost some weight over the winter and made a nice play at shortstop earlier in the week. Does that improve his stock as a potential shortstop for the Mets? Maybe!

Wilmer Flores trimmed down during this past offseason, and with the Mets still unwilling to pay up for Stephen Drew's price tag and nobody particularly excited about Ruben Tejada starting at shortstop, maybe Flores has a shot after all. He didn't hurt his chances with this nice play moving to his right during Tuesday's game against the Tigers.
