John Heyman of CBS Sports appeared on MLB Network this morning and said that the Giants, Mariners, and Orioles were all interested in Mets starting pitcher Bartolo Colon, though it doesn't seem like any deal is on the cusp of happening.
Was told no uptick in calls to Mets about Colon since Lester trade. Royals not in the mix right now; Mets seem certain Colon is staying.

The Red Sox have already traded Jon Lester—to the Athletics—and John Lackey—to the Cardinals—so the Mets would undoubtedly be eager to get in on that action as well.
As of yesterday, it looked like Colon was unlikely to be dealt, and even though a couple more teams have asked about him, the Mets seem no closer to a deal than they were a week ago when the Giants were first rumored to be involved. While Sandy Alderson would love to get something substantial in return for Colon, he probably won't deal him just to clear salary.
Colon has 106 strikeouts and just 20 walks in 141 innings with the Mets this year. His 3.88 ERA is solid and his 3.41 FIP is even better. His strikeout-to-walk ratio is well over 5-to-1, putting him in the Top 10 in baseball in that category.
