After a busy trade deadline in which the Mets acquired Yoenis Cespedes, Juan Uribe, and Kelly Johnson, promoted Michael Conforto, and saw the returns of David Wright and Travis d'Arnaud, the team became heavily reliant on the long ball. Since August 1, the Mets led all National League teams with 88 home runs.
Their current playoff series against Dodgers has been no difference. Of the five runs the Mets have scored, three have come by way of the home run. For this week's Mind Boggler, we'd like you to name every Met to homer in a playoff game.
Mets to hit a home run in a playoff game.
At 22 years old, Conforto became the second-youngest Met to homer in a postseason game when he did so on Saturday off of Zack Greinke. That home run also made Conforto the second Met to homer in his first playoff at-bat, and the fourth to homer in his first playoff game.
You'll have six minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
