The 2015 Mets were built on starting pitching and, so far this postseason, their starters haven't disappointed. In 42.2 innings, Mets starters have given up only 13 earned runs, good for a 2.74 ERA. For this week's Mind Boggler, we're asking you to name every Mets pitcher to start a postseason game.
Mets pitchers to start a playoff game.
Noah Syndergaard started for the Mets in last night's 4-1 win over the Cubs in Game Two of the NLCS and pitched well, allowing one run on three hits in 5.2 innings, while striking out nine and walking one. That followed a stellar performance from Matt Harvey in Game One, when the righty allowed two runs on four hits in 7.2 innings, with nine strikeouts to just two walks en route to a 4-2 Mets win.
You'll have four minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
