Tomorrow night, the Mets will open up the 2015 World Series against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. It will start the fifth World Series of which the Mets have been a part in their 54-year history. For this week's Mind Boggler, we're asking you to name every lineup the Mets have run out in a World Series Game 1.
Mets World Series Game 1 lineups.
The Royals' four starters—Edinson Volquez, Yordano Ventura, Johnny Cueto, and Chris Young—are all right-handed, meaning that the Mets will likely run out the lineup they've been using all postseason long against righties. That lineup has Curtis Granderson in the leadoff spot, followed by David Wright, Daniel Murphy, Yoenis Cespedes, Lucas Duda, Travis d'Arnaud, Michael Conforto, Wilmer Flores, and the pitcher. Manager Terry Collins announced that Matt Harvey will be on the mound for the Mets in Game 1.
You'll have five minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
