We are not superstitious types here, but we've had a couple of good gatherings for Mets playoff games this month. So we'll go with "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" and meet up for Game 1 of the World Series between the Mets and Royals at the same place we've met up previously:

The game starts at 8:07 PM EDT. As has been the case at the previous AARGHs, the sound will be on. So come out and nerd it up with your fellow Mets fans and Amazin' Avenue writers, community members, and readers. Given the situation the Mets are in, we're going to guess there will be some other Mets fans at the bar, too. And as has been the case for the previous gatherings, the game sound will be on.
