The Mets have put themselves back on track with a decisive 9-3 win over the Royals in Game 3 of the World Series. Noah Syndergaard had a rough second inning and got squeezed a bit by home plate umpire Mike Winters, but wound up going six and struck out six, walked two, and gave up three runs. The most impressive moment of the night was Syndergaard getting out of a bases loaded jam in the top of the sixth. The line score looks good, but on the field, he looked great.
David Wright drove in four, homered alongside Curtis Granderson, and cold-as-ice outfielders Yoenis Cespedes and Michael Conforto each drove in runs. Plus, for the first time in over a month, Juan Uribe was on the field, and drove in a run in glorious fashion. This was a good night to be a Mets fan.
