Bromance between Jerry Seinfeld and Yoenis Cespedes to continue after the World Series

"Jerry...he's a GUY." "This is all very confusing!"

Outside of all of the dingers and crazy throws to nail runners on the bases, one of the best parts of the Mets' acquisition of Yoenis Cespedes on July 31 has been the budding bromance between the Mets' outfielder and comedian Jerry Seinfeld. Throughout the summer, the two have tweeted each other back and forth, talking about Cuban sandwiches and meeting up at some point in the future.

Well, it appears Jerry's taken the next step in the relationship and chosen a place for the two to eat! Cafe Habana on Elizabeth Street is where Jerry plans to take Cespedes when the pair eventually meet up and he mentions that they have "great Cuban food and coffee". Of course, Jerry famously befriended Keith Hernandez on an episode of Seinfeld, so he knows a thing or two about meeting up with Mets players. Hopefully this time he'll get a message from Cespedes in fewer than three days.
