Final Score: Mets 1, Nationals 0—Smell ya later, Nationals

The Mets wrapped up the regular season with a win.

Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

The Mets ended the regular season as they started it: with a win over the Washington Nationals. New York took the regular season finale 1-0 thanks to good pitching from Jacob deGrom and several relief pitchers and a late solo home run from Curtis Granderson, who also singled and doubled in the game.

With that, the mets finished the season with a 90-72 record and a National League East championship. They're set to play the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Division Series on Friday.
