On Friday, the Mets will play their first playoff game in nine years when they take on the Dodgers in Game One of the National League Division Series. For this week's Mind Boggler, we're asking you to name every player to win an MVP of a playoff series in which the Mets played.
Remember that not every player on this list played for the Mets. Also keep in mind that an MVP was not named in every one of the Mets' playoff series. For example, the first National League Championship Series MVP was not awarded until 1977, which was after both the Mets' 1969 NLCS against the Braves and New York's 1973 NLCS against the Reds. Major League Baseball still does not award MVPs for the Division Series, meaning that the Mets' 1999 NLDS against the Diamondbacks, 2000 NLDS against the Giants, and 2006 NLDS against the Dodgers are not represented here.
You'll have two minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
