The Piazzas: Amazin' Avenue 2015 Mets Awards

Welcome to the Amazin' Avenue 2015 Mets Awards, named The Piazzas to honor Mets Hall of Famer, and future Baseball Hall of Famer, Mike Piazza. It's an opportunity to look back at what went right and wrong (mostly right) for the Mets this past season, and also to ogle the awesome Piazza that we will present to each winner (designed by the talented Randy Medina).

The Amazin' Avenue staff voted, and The Piazzas will be handed out as follows:

Best Rookie: Thursday, November 26
Worst Relief Pitcher: Friday, November 27

Best Relief Pitcher: Monday, November 30
Worst Starting Pitcher: Tuesday, December 1
Best Starting Pitcher: Wednesday, December 2
Worst Position Player: Thursday, December 3
Best Position Player: Friday, December 4

Note that postseason performance was considered by the voters, a different policy from the traditional BBWAA awards that only consider the regular season. We'll also provide a poll for each award so you can vote on the community award winners. Good luck to all the players!
