Mets spring training radio broadcast schedule

Baseball is just around the corner.

Brad Barr-USA TODAY Sports

The majority of the northeast may be covered in snow, but we're only four weeks away from real (albeit exhibition) baseball games. The Mets' flagship radio station, 710-WOR, published their 2015 spring training broadcast plans:

Date Day Opponent Location Time
3/4/15 Wednesday Atlanta Braves Disney 1:05 PM
3/5/15 Thursday Washington Nationals Viera 5:05 PM
3/6/15 Friday Detroit Tigers Port St. Lucie 1:10 PM
3/8/15 Sunday Boston Red Sox Port St. Lucie 1:10 PM
3/14/15 Saturday Washington Nationals Port St. Lucie 1:10 PM
3/15/15 Sunday Tampa Bay Rays Port Charlotte 1:05 PM
3/16/15 Monday Boston Red Sox Fort Myers 1:05 PM
3/21/15 Saturday Detroit Tigers Lakeland 1:05 PM
3/22/15 Sunday New York Yankees Port St. Lucie 1:10 PM
3/23/15 Monday Miami Marlins Jupiter 1:05 PM
3/25/15 Wednesday New York Yankees Tampa 1:05 PM
3/26/15 Thursday Washington Nationals Viera 5:05 PM
3/29/15 Sunday St. Louis Cardinals Jupiter 1:05 PM
4/3/15 Friday Texas Rangers Arlington, TX 8:05 PM
4/4/15 Saturday Texas Rangers Arlington, TX 2:05 PM

The schedule features three games with the Nationals, two with the Yankees, and one each with the Marlins and Braves, so radio listeners will get a full dose of the Mets' biggest rivals. Spring training broadcasts wrap up with a two-game exhibition series against the Rangers in their major league ballpark in Arlington.

TV schedules have not yet been released (sorry Gary, Keith, and Ron fans), but we can still get excited to hear Howie Rose and Josh Lewin calling Mets games again.
