Day two of the minor league season saw the Mets affiliates collect a 2-2 record. Strong pitching from Binghamton and a solid offensive performance at St. Lucie highlight a rather nondescript day on the Mets farm.

Star of the Night
There wasn't a single performance that particularly stands out, but lets give it to Rainy Lara for pitching six-and-two-thirds shutout innings as part of a 1-0 Binghamton victory.
Goat of the Night
Matt Bowman gets the horns tonight. Despite flashing elite strikeout stuff at times, giving up seven runs is a sure way to lose your team a game.
