The Mets lost again in Atlanta. Surprise!
For the second time in as many nights, the Mets lost to the Braves at Turner Field. Dillon Gee gave up five runs in his start, mostly because he gave up a bunch of hard contact. And though the Mets did very little against Julio Teheran early in the game, they had a shot to break through against him late and scored three runs. But they couldn't do much more than that, and they didn't score against the Braves' bullpen, either.
Turner Field continues to be a very frustrating venue for New York Mets baseball. The team will try to escape with a win tomorrow afternoon before coming up to New York for their home opener on Monday.
