Triple-A - Las Vegas 51's (12-8)_______________________________________

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (12-8)_____________________________________

BINGHAMTON 8, PORTLAND 3 (Box)

The B-Mets' pair of Rodriguez's drove in a half-dozen runs on their own as Binghamton swept Portland and extended their win streak to four games. Josh Rodriguez got things going in the top of the 1st, blasting a solo home run to dead center to give the B-Mets a 1-0 lead. Starter Rainy Lara was unable to preserve it, and the Sea Dogs plated two runs in the bottom of the inning to put them up by one. After a scoreless 2nd, Binghamton struck in the 3rd. After Eudy Pina hit a single and Jared King and Brandon Nimmo walked to load the bases, Rodriguez hit a line drive into left center to clear the bases, giving him 4 RBI in three innings. In the 4th, Jairo Perez added two more runs to Binghamton's tally on a home run down the left field line that was initially called a foul ball, but reversed. Lara gave up another run in the bottom of the 4th, but it would be the last that Portland scored, as Adam Kolarek, Dario Alvarez, and Jon Velasquez combined to toss five scoreless innings. Already winning 6-3, Aderlin Rodriguez added two insurance runs in the 7th with his third home run of the season, making it an 8-3 ballgame, which would end up the final score.

In the 9th, we had a little scare. Brandon Nimmo laced a double into center off of reliever Kyle Martin. The Wyoming wunderkind slid into the bag awkwardly and came up lame, grabbing at his right knee/hamstring. He needed to be helped off of the field by trainers and seemed to be in pain.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (10-10)_____________________________________

NO GAME (SCHEDULE)

Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (7-12)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 7, DELMARVA 5 (Box)

The Sand Gnats got on the board first, plating a run in the 2nd and 3rd, but the Shorebirds tied things up in the 4th inning when left fielder Conor Bierfeldt hit a two-RBI single off of Corey Oswalt. After Delmarva took the lead in the 6th, and adding an insurance run in the top of the 7th, the Savannah offense came alive, plating four runs in the bottom of the inning to make it a 6-4 ballgame. Walks to Patrick Biondi, Jonathan Johnson, and Luis Guillorme loaded the bases, allowing John Mora to drive two men in with a double. After Wuilmer Becerra walked- loading the bases up once again- a Stefan Sabol ground out and Jean Rodriguez single plated two more. Both teams would score one more run, but the Sand Gnats would hold on to their two run lead, and win the game 7-5.

Star of the Night

Josh Rodriguez: Hard to argue with a 4 RBI night.

Goat of the Night

Michael Conforto: Two days in a row without a hit? C'mon, bro.
