With their final roster cuts in place, the Mets have set their Opening Day roster for the 2015 season. On paper, it's a pretty encouraging roster, even if the decision to go with a short bench and carry eight relief pitchers is a bit of a head-scratcher. All of the expected starting position players will be out there to start the year, assuming Daniel Murphy's hamstring holds up between now and Monday afternoon, and the starting rotation is missing Zack Wheeler but otherwise looks as it was expected to look. There's still enough here to go into the season feeling optimistic.
