Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (33-29)_______________________________________
LAS VEGAS 3, RENO 2 (Box)
Tyler Pill had a decent game, working around six walks and limiting Reno to only two runs, but Matt Reynolds was the hero in this one. In the seventh inning, he cut the 51s' two-run deficit to one with a sac fly before Johnny Monell tied it. In the ninth, Reynolds delivered a walk-off RBI single to give the 51s a much-needed win.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (29-30)_____________________________________
NEW BRITAIN 0, BINGHAMTON 0 (Box)
SUSPENDED. Inclement weather stopped this game after the bottom of the fourth inning. Binghamton was getting no-hit, so perhaps this turns out to be a stroke of luck. The game will be resumed tomorrow and will be abbreviated to seven innings.
Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (30-31)_____________________________________
PALM BEACH 2, ST. LUCIE 1 (Box)
An off night for the St. Lucie offense wasted six-and-two-thirds solid innings from Logan Taylor, as the St. Lucie Mets slipped back below .500. Matt Oberste had the lone RBI in the bottom of the first inning before Cardinals starter Trey Nielsen shut down the Mets for the next six innings. Dominic Smith and Amed Rosario, both of whom had been putting up solid numbers of late, each went 0-for-4.
- SS Amed Rosario: 0-4; an off night, but he's doing just fine with his aggressive assignment
- 1B Dom Smith: 0-4, K
- PH Champ Stuart: 0-1
- DH Matt Oberste: 2-3, RBI, BB
- SP Logan Taylor:6.2 IP, 2 R, ER, 2 BB, 6 K
Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (0-0)__________________________________
SAVANNAH 8, HICKORY 6 (Box)
Savannah wins again, this time in a slugfest against the Hickory Crawdads. The Gnats entered the top of the seventh trailing by one, but tied the game on a Jonathan Johnson leadoff home run, then took the lead two batters later on a two-run bomb from Wuilmer Becerra. The win stretched the Gnats' streak to ten straight.

Star of the Night
For the third Friday in a row, Becerra has a big night when I'm on duty for the recap. Maybe I should do these more often. Wuilmer is the star for tonight.
Goat of the Night
The St. Lucie offense.
