FRESNO 7, LAS VEGAS 2 (Box)
Anthony Recker and Alex Castellanos homered for the 51s, but that was all the offense they could muster in a 7-2 loss to Fresno. Darin Gorski started for Las Vegas and didn't survive the fifth inning, allowing six runs in 4.1 innings.

NEW HAMPSHIRE 5, BINGHAMTON 4 (Box)
Binghamton pounded out 16 hits, but went 2-for-15 with runners in scoring position in a 5-4 loss to New Hampshire. Brandon Nimmo and L.J. Mazzilli led the way with four hits each. Binghamton had a final chance to even things up in the ninth with a runner at third and one out, but Xorge Carillo popped out and Aderlin Rodriguez struck out to end the comeback attempt.
Akeel Morris made his Binghamton debut—after a very rough major league cameo with the Mets against Toronto—and threw a scoreless inning.

Ricky Knapp combined with Jimmy Duff and David Roseboom to help Savannah shut out Augusta 1-0. The Sand Gnats managed the only run of the game thanks to a couple of Augusta errors in the fifth. Adrian Abreu reached on an error by shortstop Jeremy Sy and came around to score on a single by Luis Guillorme and an error from left fielder Andrew Cain.
Knapp pitched into the eighth, allowing just five hits and recorded eight strikeouts. David Roseboom struck out the side in the ninth for his eighth save of the season.

Brooklyn starter Gaby Almonte was knocked around early for eight runs (six earned) in the first three innings by Staten Island and the Cyclones never recovered in an 8-3 loss. Left fielder Enmanuel Zabala singled and scored twice to lead the Cyclones' offense in defeat.
