Tonight's Mets-Reds game was suspended in the top of the seventh inning with the score tied 1-1. It will be resumed beginning at 1:10 PM on Sunday, after which the Mets and Reds will play their regularly scheduled afternoon affair.
Curtis Granderson continued his offensive surge, accounting for the lone Mets' run with a solo opposite-field home run in the third inning. The Reds' run scored in the fifth inning on a Tucker Barnhart double, a Michael Lorenzen sacrifice, and an RBI double by Brandon Phillips.
Matt Harvey struck out three and walked two in six innings and was ready to pitch the seventh inning when the rains came.
Carlos Torres will take the mount tomorrow afternoon to begin the seventh inning.
