Triple-A - Las Vegas 51's (29-26)_______________________________________

MEMPHIS 10, LAS VEGAS 9 (Box)

The Wally for manager crowd seems to have quieted a bit as the 51s ran their losing streak to nine games last night. A six-run third helped stake Vegas to a 8-4 lead, but a disastrous rehab appearance from Vic Black, and a couple unearned runs of Chasen Bradford means the bad times roll on for the 51s in the River City

REHAB ALERT: Vic Black pitched a third of an inning and gave up four runs on two hits, two walks, and a bomb. That's...not ideal.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (26-27)_____________________________________

TRENTON 2, BINGHAMTON 0 (Box)

The B-Mets managed just two hits (both from Michael Conforto) and fell under .500 despite a strong start from Luis Cessa, who lowered his ERA to 2.81 on the year.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (27-27)_____________________________________

PALM BEACH 3, ST. LUCIE 2 (Box)

Alex Reyes and John Gant dueled in the Palm Beach sun, but in the end the baby Cardinals walked it off, of Mike Hepple and Kyle Regnault.

  • 1B Dominic Smith: 0-3, R, BB, K; Had his hitting streak finally snapped, so maybe Jeff Moore's twitter mentions get a rest.
  • 3B Jeff McNeil:1-4, K, CS
  • SS Amed Rosario: 1-4
  • 2B Philip Evans: 0-1
  • RHP John Gant: 8 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 1 BB, 9 K, 1 HR; I liked what I saw from Gant in Binghamton, but it was an aggressive assignment and he struggled with his control. Hopefully gets back on track in the Florida State League.

REHAB ALERT: Dilson Herrera and Travis d'Arnaud both got three at-bats. Herrera went 1-3 with a double and 2 Ks, and Donuts went 1-2 with a walk.

Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (27-27)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 4, GREENVILLE 2 (Box)

Hey, a win! Matires Aries and Ricky Knapp kept Yoan Moncada and the rest of the Drive bats in neutral, and the Sand Gnats cobbled together enough runs to eek out a win at Historic Grayson stadium.
