Daniel Murphy hit the disabled list with a quad strain and the Mets summoned both Danny Muno and Wilfredo Tovar from Las Vegas. Muno stayed to replace Murphy and Tovar took a u-turn back to the PCL. Kevin Plawecki, meanwhile, has some dizziness but it's not vertigo.
Reports say that the Mets are working hard to deal Dillon Gee and Jon Niese now but when are the Mets going to make a trade for some offense? Rival execs say that Sandy Alderson has definitely been working the phones in that pursuit as well.
Meanwhile, the Mets' six-man rotation lasted approximately three days.
