Final Score: Mets 6, Diamondbacks 3—Hair and home runs

Jacob deGrom pitched well, and the Mets hit four home runs to defeat Arizona.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Mets hit four home runs, scored six runs in total, and beat the Diamondbacks in the four-game series finale this afternoon in Arizona. With that and the Cubs' victory over the Nationals today, the Mets are back in first place in the National League East.

Jacob deGrom was good, throwing seven innings and striking out ten. He gave up three runs, one of which was unearned, and walked two. Hansel Robles pitched a perfect eighth and Jeurys Familia a perfect ninth to finish up the victory.

As for those home runs, Curtis Granderson hit two, one of which led off the game, and Eric Campbell and Wilmer Flores hit one apiece. Love the Mets.
