The Pacific Coast League has announced the rosters for the 2015 Pacific Coast League All-Star team. Two Mets prospects from the Las Vegas 51s made the roster: Infielder Matt Reynolds and outfielder Travis Taijeron.

Matt Reynolds, 24, was drafted by the Mets in the second round of the 2012 MLB Draft as compensation for losing Jose Reyes. Selected 71st overall, Reynolds was assigned to the Savannah Sand Gnats, where he hit .259/.335/.367 in 42 games. He was promoted to the St. Lucie Mets in 2013 and hit an underwhelming .226/.302/.337. In 2014, he hit an impressive .355/.430/.422 in 58 for the Binghamton Mets, aided somewhat by a .433 BABIP. He received a mid-season promotion and continued the hot hitting in Las Vegas, hitting .333/.385/.479 in 68 games for the 51s. Over 73 more games in the 2015 season, Reynolds has hit .270/.328/.404 with Las Vegas. The infielder got off to a scorching hot start, hitting .317/.349/.524 in April but has since cooled down, hitting .239/.293/.301 in May and .267/.324/.422 in June.

Travis Taijeron, 26, was drafted by the Mets in the 18th round of the 2011 MLB Draft from California Polytechnic State University. Assigned to the Brooklyn Cyclones out of the draft, the outfielder hit an impressive .299/.387/.557. Promoted to Savannah to start the 2012 season, he hit an equally impressive .291/.401/.548 in 64 games and earned a mid-season promotion to the St. Lucie Mets. Taijeron hit a wall there, hitting .203/.304/.373 in 48 games. He repeated High-A in 2013 and did much better, hitting .303/.396/.564 in 55 games. He earned another mid-season promotion, this time to the Binghamton Mets, where he hit .246/.322/.504 in 65 games, and then hit .248/.357/.476 in 101 games for them the following year. Taijeron began the 2015 season with the Las Vegas 51s, and in 67 games for them has hit .297/.407/.545.

The Triple-A All-Star Game, in which the International and Pacific Coast Leagues play each other, is scheduled for July 15 at Werner Park, home of the Omaha Storm Chasers.
