ALBUQUERQUE 5, LAS VEGAS 4 (Box)

With the game tied 4-4 in the bottom of the ninth, Las Vegas committed two errors that allowed the winning run to score in a 5-4 loss to Albuquerque. Albuquerque loaded the bases on two singles and an error by Dilson Herrera and then scored the winning run when Tim Smalling reached on another error by pitcher Zach Thorton that scored Roger Bernadina from third.

T.J. Rivera led the 51s offense, going 3-for-5 with a home run.

    BINGHAMTON 3 TRENTON 2 (Box)

    Michael Conforto slammed a go-ahead two-run homer in the fifth and Robert Gsellman allowed just two unearned runs over seven innings to lead Binghamton over Trenton 3-2.

    Trenton went ahead 2-1 in the fourth when Mark Payton doubled home two runs following an error by Binghamton shortstop Gavin Cecchini. That was one of the two hits Gsellman allowed on the day. Binghamton responded in the fifth when Cecchini drew a walk and Conforto put them ahead for good with his fifth Double-A homer.

    DUNEDIN 4, ST. LUCIE 2 (Box)

    St. Lucie starter Miller Diaz was knocked around for four runs in the first two innings in a 4-2 loss to Dunedin. The Mets got RBI hits from Phillip Evans and Stefan Sabol, but struck out 13 times to Dunedin pitchers in defeat.

    SAVANNAH 6, CHARLESTON 3 (Box)

    Savannah rode a four-run first inning to a 6-3 win over Charleston. Michael Katz, Eudor Garcia, and John Mora all drove in runs in the first, and a wild pitch brought home a fourth run that gave B-Mets starter Ricky Knapp all the support he would need. Knapp picked up his fourth win by going six innings and allowing two earned runs on five hits while striking out four. Garcia finished the day 3-for-4 with two RBI.

    The Cyclones fell behind early and never recovered in a 4-3 loss to Vermont. Vermont loaded the bases in the second inning off Brooklyn starter Tyler Badamo and then Vermont third baseman Mikey White cleared them with a three-run double.

    Michael Bernal, Henglebert Rojas, and Jeff Diehl added two hits each in defeat for Brooklyn.

Patrick Mazeika provided most of the Kingsport offense with a two-run double in the fifth. Their other run scored in the third when Leon Canelon came home when Arnaldo Berrios grounded into a double play.
