Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (58-55 /23-20)_____________________________________

FORT MYERS 8, ST. LUCIE 4 (Box)

  • CF Kyle Johnson: 0-5, 4 K
  • 2B Jeff McNeil: 1-3, R, K; I'm genuinely surprised McNeil hasn't been promoted yet especially given the lineup Binghamton roles out these days.
  • REHAB ALERT DH David Wright: 1-3, R, BB; Call me crazy but I believe David Wright is going to come back and be really good like he always is.
  • 1B Dominic Smith: 1-4, R; Adam Rubin has been sharing some photos of Smith on his twitter feed and I have to say Smith doesn't look that bad. Thick, yes, but not a disaster. And he looks strong, like maybe that raw-70 grade we keep scoffing at might be real.
  • RF Victor Cruzado: 1-4, RBI, K
  • SS Amed Rosario: 1-4, K; Nice to see that wrist thing Rosario had wasn't a thing.
  • 3B Jhoan Urena: 0-4; Also nice to see Urena was able to make it back this year.
  • P Miller Diaz: 3.2 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 1 K
