Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (68-56)_______________________________________

LAS VEGAS 6, IOWA 5 (Box)

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (65-54)_____________________________________

POSTPONED (WET GROUNDS)

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (60-61 /25-26)_____________________________________

BRADENTON 5, ST. LUCIE 2 (Box)

St. Lucie took a 1-0 lead in the second on an Amed Rosario two out single that plated Matt Oberste, but their lead would be brief. Bradenton scored four unearned runs in the third on a David Wright throwing error. Both teams scored an additional run in the sixth, Victor Cruzado scoring on a wild pitch and Jin-De Jhang hitting his fourth home run, but the deficit racked up in the third proved too tall for St. Lucie to climb.

Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (72-48 / 33-17)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 1, AUGUSTA 0 / 6 (Box)

Another day, another Sand Gnat victory, right? Their fifteenth win in a row had a new and interesting wrinkle, at least, as rain forced the game to be called after six innings. Savannah scored in the first inning for the second night in a row. With two outs, Wuilmer Becerra singled and Eudor Garcia walked, putting Becerra in scoring position. Michael Katz sent a Chris Johnson pitch into right, scoring Becerra, and that was that. Ricky Knapp, I believe the proper term, was shoving. He tossed a rain-shortened complete game shutout, allowing three hits and a walk.

SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (25-30)_______________________________________

NO GAME (ALL-STAR BREAK)

Gabby Almone, Alex Palsha, and Vinny Siena all participated in the NY-Penn All-Star Game. Almonte pitched a scoreless second, needing only seven pitches, while Palsha threw a scoreless eighth, throwing thirteen pitches. Siena came in as a substitute at second base and went 0-2.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (29-25)__________________________

PRINCETON 10, KINGSPORT 5 (Box)

It wasn't exactly a good night for Kingsport. Going for the sweep against the Princeton Rays, Kingsport instead got beat by a five-run margin. The Mets' affiliate initially had the lead, thanks to a passed ball that allowed Kevin Kaczmarski to score, but Merandy Gonzalez ran into trouble in the fifth and gave up six runs. Kingsport came back in the bottom of the inning, scoring three runs to make it a 6-4 ballgame, but Princeton began chipping away at Harol Gonzalez, nickel-and-diming him for three unearned runs over his three innings of work. Dash Winningham led off the ninth with a home run, his twelfth of the season, but the blast over the right field stands was a death throe more than a sustained comeback, as relievers Ian Gibaut and Alberto Casanas combined to finish the inning without allowing additional Kingsport runs.

Rookie - GCL Mets (25-25)__________________________
