Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (60-48)_______________________________________
LAS VEGAS 8, TACOMA 4 (Box)
Matt Reynolds went 4-for-5 and sparked a six-run first inning as Las Vegas triumphed over Tacoma 8-4. The 51s and newly signed starter Tim Stauffer fell behind 2-0 in the top of the first, but quickly rallied in the bottom of the inning. After singles by Dilson Herrera and Darrell Ceciliani, Reynolds followed with an RBI double. The 51s would go on to score five more times in the inning, capped off by a two-run double from Herrera that came during his second at-bat of the frame.
Stauffer allowed only one more run in his 51s debut and exited on the winning side of things in the sixth. Chasen Bradford, Zach Thornton, and Vic Black each threw a scoreless inning of relief in preserving the win.
Double-A - Binghamton Mets (59-47)_____________________________________
BINGAMTON 6, RICHMOND 5 (Box)
Gavin Cecchini singled twice and knocked in two runs as Binghamton edged past Richmond. Despite not being at his best, B-Mets starter Gabriel Ynoa picked up the win. Ynoa allowed 10 hits and four runs (three earned) over five innings, but was better than Richmond starter Tyler Beede, a 2014 first-round pick and top prospect in the San Francisco Giants' organization, who gave up six runs on five hits and four walks.
Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (53-52 / 18-17)_____________________________________
ST. LUCIE 6, CLEARWATER 0 (Box)
St. Lucie plated runs in each of the first four innings and starter Kevin McGowan tossed seven shutout innings in a 6-0 Mets victory.
Dominic Smith's RBI ground out got St. Lucie on the board in the first inning. Jhoan Urena added an RBI single in the second and another run came home when Colton Plaia grounded into a double play. Jeff McNeil scored in the third on a sacrifice fly by Victor Cruzado. In the fourth, Matt Oberste knocked an RBI base hit scoring Urena. Smith followed with a single and his second RBI of the night that brought in McNeil.
Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (57-47 / 18-16)__________________________________
SAVANNAH 3, ASHEVILLE 0 (Box)
The Sand Gnats received an outstanding start from Casey Delgado to win their sixth straight game. Delgado gave up just two singles and two walks over seven innings, while striking out six. Savannah's offense was provided by the 7-8-9 hitters in their lineup with Jean Rodriguez, Joe Tuschack, and Patrick Biondi each driving in a run.
SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (22-18)_______________________________________
BATAVIA 10, BROOKLYN 3 (Box)
Starter Andrew Church was absolutely miserable for the Cyclones in a 10-3 loss to Batavia. Church began by hitting the first batter he faced and followed by uncorking a wild pitch that moved the runner into scoring position. Things snowballed from there as Church was rocked for six runs on six hits. He recorded just two outs before being removed thanks to the bevy of Batavia hits.
Tucker Tharp and 2015 fourth-round pick David Thompson each homered for the Cyclones in defeat.
