Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (74-59)_______________________________________
LAS VEGAS 2, ROUND ROCK 0 (Box)
Captain Kirk's dinger was the only scoring in this snoozer, while Tim Stauffer continued his strong run since coming over from Twins organization—which has been mostly buoyed by an extremely (and uncharacteristically) low BABIP allowed. Met-for-a-day Dario Alavarez came on as a LOOGY and did his job; no strikeout but still has an impressive 60 Ks in 40.2 innings split between Vegas and Bingo.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (70-59)_____________________________________
BINGHAMTON 9, NEW HAMPSHIRE 5 (Box)
Tyler Pill pitched around wildness in this one, and was helped out on a tag-team effort by L.J. Mazzilli and T.J. Rivera which cut down a runner at the plate on a shallow pop single and ended a two-run fifth. The B-Mets went on to capitalize on a dropped fly ball in the bottom half of the inning, putting up six runs in the frame. Erik Goedell gave up a two-out rally of three singles and a walk in the sixth after previously laying down four straight scoreless outings. Josh Smoker entered an 8-5 game in the eighth with two outs and a runner at second, and allowed a walk and a steal of third to make things interesting before striking out a lefty to end the Fisher Cats' last threat.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (30-29 // 65-64)_____________________________________
PALM BEACH 8, ST. LUCIE 6 (Box)
The Cardinals went all Sesame Street on a wild and rattled Miller Diaz, scoring one in the first, two in the second, and three in the third. The Mets responded by having their first six hitters in the third reach base, scoring four. The bullpen did a good job as neither side scored again until Dominic Smith unleashed his legendary power with a solo homer in the seventh to make it a one-run game. Mike Hepple gave up a run in both the eighth and ninth, which turned out to be crucial as the Mets clawed within 8-6 by scoring in the bottom of the ninth when Dom Smith used his legendary speed to beat out a potential game-ending double play. This set up a legendary two-on and two-out situation for Ahmed Rosario—who fanned to end it.

- LHP Kelly Secrest: 2.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 1 K
- RHP Mike Hepple: 2.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 1 K
Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (38-19 // 77-50)__________________________________
SAVANNAH 11, ASHEVILLE 5 (Box)
Asheville jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first, but this Savannah team is straight fire right now. Starter Chris Flexen settled down nicely, and the Sand Gnats scored eleven unanswered (including eight from the sixth inning on) to run away with it over second-place Asheville—kind of like they're doing with their division. Their magic number is now 7.

- RHP Tim Peterson: 1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 BB, 2 K
SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (30-34)_______________________________________
HUDSON VALLEY 5, BROOKLYN 0 (Box)
After inheriting a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the third and getting away unscathed, Craig Missigman missed his mark in the fourth. He wild-pitched in two runs and gave up four extra-base hits while the Iron Birds put up all five of their runs in the inning. Offensively, the Cyclones again couldn't gain traction, managing only four hits in suffering their third straight shutout loss. Desmond Lindsay did reach base for the first time as a Cyclone though, so excelsior and all that to this year's second-round pick.

KINGSPORT 6, ELIZABETHTON 3 (Box)
With seven strong innings under his belt and holding a 3-1 lead, Gabriel Llanes threw a wild pitch which helped set up a two-run rally in the eighth for Elizabethton, tying the score.
