Double-A - Binghamton Mets (59-48)_____________________________________

RICHMOND 2, BINGHAMTON 0 (Box)

The Flying Squirrels plated two runs thanks to solo shots off of by Matt Koch by Engel Beltre and Devin Harris, and that would be all they needed, as the B-Mets offense mustered little against their pitching. Richmond starter Joan Gregorio didn't pitch a particularly good game, but the Binghamton bats simply did not perk up against him, or against the various bullpen arms that relieved him.

ST. LUCIE 7, CLEARWATER 2 (Box)

The Sand Gnats came into the game looking to sweep the Tourists, but Asheville avoided it, instead shutting out the Gnats 2-0 in the series finale. Martires Arias was solid, but gets a tough-luck loss, allowing two runs over six innings. The bullpen behind him was perfectly cromulent as well, but the offense was just MIA for the afternoon.

BATAVIA 1, BROOKLYN 0 (Box)

Chris Flexen navigated in and out of trouble almost all afternoon, but the Cyclones were unable to escape unscathed in the fifth. After getting the first two outs, Flexen gave up a triple. After walking the bases loaded to guarantee an out at any base, Brandon Brosher let a Johnny Magliozzi pitch get past him, scoring the only and winning run.
