ROUND ROCK 4, LAS VEGAS 1 (Box)
51s starter Matt Bowman was taken deep for a two-run home run by Texas Rangers' power hitting prospect Joey Gallo in the third inning as Las Vegas fell to Round Rock 4-1. Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-3 in the loss for Las Vegas.
Double-A - Binghamton Mets (73-59)_____________________________________
BINGHAMTON 6, NEW HAMPSHIRE 3 (Box)
Rainy Lara pitched seven innings to earn the win for Binghamton over New Hampshire. Lara gave up two runs on six hits and struck out seven without issuing any walks to improve to 8-5 on the year. Brock Peterson had three hits and drove in three runs.
Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (66-65 / 31-30)_____________________________________
ST. LUCIE 3, PALM BEACH 2 (Box)
Matt Oberste sent St. Lucie to a 3-2 victory over Palm Beach with a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth. Victor Cruzado lead off the ninth for St. Lucie with a double. Champ Stuart entered the game for Cruzado as a pinch runner and moved over to third on a sacrifice bunt by Jeff McNeil. Stuart coasted home with the winning run when Oberste singled to center field.
Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (79-49 / 40-18)__________________________________
SAVANNAH 2 , AUGUSTA 0 (5 innings- rain) (Box)
Savannah beat Augusta 2-0 in a game shortened to five innings because of rain. Matires Arias went all five to earn the win. He allowed just two hits and a walk while striking out six. Wuilmer Becerra went 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Sand Gnats offense.
SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (31-35)_______________________________________
BROOKLYN 10, ABERDEEN 2 (Box)
Zach Mathieu went 3-for-4 with a homer and three RBI to lead the Cyclones' 15-hit attack against Aberdeen. Vincent Siena added three singles and Brandon Brosher drove in two runs with a double.
Rookie - Kingsport Mets (38-27)__________________________
KINGSPORT 5, ELIZABETHTON 2 (Box)
Kingsport sailed to victory on the arms of the Gonzalez boys, Merandy and Harol. Merandy Gonzalez started and struck out eight over six innings, allowing two runs on four hits along the way. Harol Gonzalez pitched the final three innings, giving up just one hit while striking out four. Arnaldo Berrios and Gregory Valencia each knocked two-run doubles in the win.
