Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (74-62)_______________________________________

ROUND ROCK 5, LAS VEGAS 3 (Box)

Dillon Gee quietly logged another solid game down in Las Vegas, striking out a whopping ten, but Dario Alvarez allowed two runs in the bottom of the eighth, preventing him from getting the win. With the loss, Las Vegas' lead in the division slipped to 1.5 games.

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (73-60)_____________________________________

NEW HAMPSHIRE 5, BINGHAMTON 3 / 10 (Box)

Binghamton had their four-game winning streak snapped due to a bad pitch on the part of Adam Kolarek and a lucky shot off the bat of Fisher Cat catcher Jack Murphy in extra innings. New Hampshire tied the game 3-3 in the sixth, and from there, both teams came up short until the tenth inning.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (66-65 / 31-30)_____________________________________

SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (31-36)_______________________________________

TRI-CITY 13, BROOKLYN 4 (Box)

Brooklyn's woes continued last night, dropping the first game of their series against the Valley Cats in embarrassing fashion. Starter Kevin Canelon lasted only four innings, allowing eight runs on nine hits, four of which were home runs. All four of the Cyclones' runs came in the fourth inning, three of which came on a Zach Mathieu three-run home run. The other run came two batters previous, on a David Thompson RBI double that scored Alfredo Reyes.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (39-27)__________________________

KINGSPORT 2, DANVILLE 1 (Box)

Kingsport extended their current winning streak to six games with their 2-1 win over the Danville Braves. Kingsport scored both of their runs in the bottom of the second inning on back-to-back RBI hits by Ali Sanchez and Jose Maria. Thomas McIlraith gave up a run in the top of the third but otherwise held Danville scoreless. Seth Davis pitched the last two innings, picking up his first save with Kingsport.
