Triple-A - Las Vegas 51s (64-49)_______________________________________

LAS VEGAS, SALT LAKE (Box)

POSTPONED (Rain)

Double-A - Binghamton Mets (61-50)_____________________________________

TRENTON 6, BINGHAMTON 3 (Box)

Another solid start from Gabriel Ynoa was spoiled by a bullpen implosion from Paul Sewald and Jon Velasquez. Gavin Cecchini, who is just about the only legitimate offensive prospect left in Double-A, went 2-for-4 with a double. His season wRC+ is a robust 135, and hopefully he can iron out the defensive problems.

Advanced-A - St. Lucie Mets (38-37 / 18-17)_____________________________________

JUPITER 5, ST. LUCIE 2 / 11 (Box)

In a horrifying turn of events, Jupiter ran out Luis Castillo as their starting pitcher. His ghost remains, and it undoubtedly played a role in the Mets' 11-inning loss. On the positive end, Dominic Smith had two extra-base hits, on home run. Michael Cuddyer hit two deep fly balls that were caught on the warning track in his first rehab game.

Low-A - Savannah Sand Gnats (40-34 / 21-14)__________________________________

SAVANNAH 3, CHARLESTON 2 (Box)

Casey Delgado had a very solid start, and Tim Peterson stopped a late Charleston rally to preserve a 3-2 win for Savannah. Luis Guillorme had a rare extra-base hit, and John Mora went 2-for-4 with a double.

SS-A - Brooklyn Cyclones (7-3)_______________________________________

VERMONT 7, BROOKLYN 2 (Box)

Brooklyn got out to a 2-0 lead thanks to a home run from David Thomspon and an RBI from Brandon Brosher. Things got ugly later in the game, however. The only Brooklyn base runner in the last four innings was Vincent Siena in the ninth, who got picked off of first. Craig Missigman gave up four runs, though only one was earned, and Brooklyn very quickly found themselves in a hole they wouldn't recover from.

Rookie - Kingsport Mets (21-22)__________________________

KINGSPORT 4, JOHNSON CITY 0 (Box)

Nabil Crismatt pitched six good innings, and Yoryi Nuez finished with three even better innings to end the shut out. Kevin Kaczmarksi and Luis Carpio were the offensive stars, with three hits a piece. Milton Ramos left the game in the second inning without getting at bat.

Rookie - GCL Mets (23-18)__________________________

GCL METS 6, GCL CARDINALS 5 (Box)

The GCL Mets rallied late to win a back and forth affair with the Cardinals to win 6-5. Every player had a hit, but only Yeffry De Aza and Victor Moscote had more than one. Jordan Humphreys gave up a run in the night, but was able to preserver the win.

Star of the Night

Luis Carpio and Kevin Kaczmarski.

Goat of the Night

Paul Sewald
