Meet the Mets

The Mets got a good start out of Jon Niese, and it was a much-needed one. After Travis d'Arnaud brought in an early run, Michael Conforto went deep, and Daniel Murphy plated two more with a double, as the Mets would go on to win 4-0. The magic number now sits at 7.

Juan Uribe may miss some time with his chest injury.

Offense is trending upwards in baseball again, as MLB is up 0.21 runs per nine innings.
