In case you haven't heard, the Mets are your 2015 National League East division champions. Did you know that? In a 10-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, the Amazins clinched the division, securing their first playoff appearance since 2006. The only appropriate response was a lot of champagne.
David Wright was emotional. Daniel Murphy hugged his son. Michael Cuddyer taught the kids how to spray champagne. Dilson Herrera had (we're assuming) his first taste of alcohol. And Terry Collins celebrated like he hasn't had the chance to do since he joined the Mets. Here's a look at how the party went down.
