Last week, we asked you to name the Mets' hitting and pitching leaders of the 1960s. For this week's Mind Boggler, we'd like you to do the same for the years spanning from 1970 to 1979.

Mets leaders in the major hitting and pitching categories during the 1970s.

After winning the World Series in 1969, the Mets finished over .500 in six of the seven years from 1970 to 1976. After that, however, the franchise entered one of its darkest periods, averaging just 64 wins a year during the last three years of the '70s.

The highlight of that decade was the Mets' unexpected pennant run in 1973. After winning their division with an 82-79 record, the Mets beat the heavily favored Reds in the NLCS, and then took the (also heavily favored) Athletics to Game 7 of the World Series, which Oakland won.

You'll have four minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
