We continue our decade-by-decade look at the Mets' statistical leaders with this week's Mind Boggler. For this week's quiz, we'd like you to name the Mets' hitting and pitching leaders from 1980 to 1989.

Mets leaders in the major hitting and pitching categories during the 1980s.

The 1980s was the most successful decade in the history of the Mets' franchise. After starting the decade with four sub-.500 seasons, the Mets averaged 96 wins a year from 1984 to 1989. They won at least 90 games in five of those six seasons, and reached the 100-win plateau twice. Under the stewardship of Frank Cashen and Davey Johnson, the Mets captured the World Series title in 1986 and reached Game 7 of the NLCS in 1988. The 1980s Mets featured some of the most iconic players in team history, many of whom will appear in this week's Mind Boggler.

You'll have three minutes for this quiz. Good luck, and remember to post your time and score in the comments!
