Mets Celebration Roundup: Tonight we’re gonna party like it’s 1999

May this be the first celebration of many!

For the first time since 2000, the New York Mets are Wild Card winners. They now have made the postseason in consecutive seasons for only the second time in franchise history. The first—and only—time it was done before this season was by the 1999-2000 team.
