Meet the Mets

With Thanksgiving having taken place yesterday, there wasn’t much in the way of Mets news. In case you missed it, though, and in the spirit of the holiday, here’s yet another reminder that Curtis Granderson is pretty great.

Roger Bernadina, who spent the 2016 season playing for the Las Vegas 51s, agreed to a deal with the Kia Tigers of the KBO.

Around the National League East

The Braves made a Thanksgiving Day signing, inking utility player Sean Rodriguez to a reasonable two-year deal. He’s played every defensive position except catcher in both of the last two seasons.

Federal Baseball has a list of things that Nationals fans can be thankful for this year. Luckily, Bryce Harper getting his ring wasn’t one of them.

Fish Stripes continued its countdown of the top 100 Marlins of all time with Leo Nunez and had three things for Marlins fans to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgving, says The Good Phight.

Around Major League Baseball

Carlos Beltran’s market is down to four teams. An all-time great Met, he’s being courted exclusively by American League teams looking for help at DH.

This Date in Mets History

On this date in 2010, former Mets infielder Kaz Matsui left Major League Baseball for a deal in Japan.
