Mets release 2017 promotional and giveaway schedule

The Mets have released the schedule for the promotions and giveaways at Citi Field for 2017 at Citi Field. The giveaways begin as they usually do, with all fans in attendance at Opening Day on April 3 receiving a magnetic Mets schedule. The Mets will also have their annual Free Shirt Fridays for every single Friday home game of the season again this year.

Other notable giveaways include a Matt Harvey Garden Gnome on April 22, a Noah Syndergaard hair hat on May 6, a David Wright figurine on May 20, an Asdrubal Cabrera bobblehead on July 1, a Yoenis Cespedes compression sleeve on July 23, and a Yoenis Cespedes bobblehead on August 23. There will also be a player fathead giveaway on September 23, but the player for that has not been chosen yet. All of those giveaways are only for the first 15,000 fans in the ballpark.

Additionally, there will be four fireworks nights during the season on April 8, June 3, July 15, and September 23. The promotional season concludes at the final home game of the year on September 24, which will feature a 2018 magnetic Mets schedule for all fans in attendance.
