Mets daily spring training report, 3/10/16: Syndergaard dominates in spring debut

The Mets beat the Cardinals, and Noah Syndergaard was very sharp.

Sometimes it seems like players might not need spring training at all. That looked to be the case today, as Noah Syndergaard threw three scoreless innings, allowed just one hit, struck out two, and walked none. And his stuff seemed to be in great shape, especially considering it's early in spring training.

Ruben Tejada and Travis Taijeron each hit a home run in the game. Tejada had come in for Asdrubal Cabrera, who left with knee soreness and is reportedly having an MRI this evening. Let's hope that's just the Mets playing it very safe with whatever is going on there.
