The Mets had a pretty nice day in Jupiter. Matt Harvey threw four scoreless innings with four strikeouts, two walks, and just one hit allowed. Five relievers—Jeurys Familia, Jerry Blevins, Antonio Bastardo, Jeff Walters, and Buddy Carlyle—combined to shut out the Marlins. In total, Mets pitchers struck out eleven and walked three.

Speaking of eleven, the Mets scored eleven runs, too. Ruben Tejada had the best day among the Mets' hitters, as he went 2-for-3 with three runs batted in and one run scored, but there were plenty of highlights at the plate.
