Mets daily spring training report, 3/15/16

Catch up on yesterday's spring training action.

Mets 8, Marlins 6 (Box)

Note: Just for clarification, the spring training reports are using the date of the games themselves, as most of the reports are going up on the same day as the games. The daily farm reports, once they resume, will continue to cover the previous day's game.

The Mets scored twice in the eighth inning to tie and twice more in the ninth inning to take the lead against the Marlins in their game on Tuesday. Noah Syndergaard got the start and reportedly looked great, and Travis d'Arnaud hit a bases-clearing double. Praise Dickey.

Syndergaard gave up two runs in three-and-two-thirds innings. Antonio Bastardo gave up three in two-thirds of an inning. But the comeback gave the Mets a win going into their off day today.
