Mets daily spring training report, 3/20/16

Noah Syndergaard looked sharp, but the Mets lost to the Red Sox.

The Mets lost a spring training game to the Red Sox today, but Noah Syndergaard looked fantastic. Things didn't go so well for Jerry Blevins, Antonio Bastardo, and Hansel Robles, as they gave up a bunch of runs after Syndergaard departed. In between all of that, Buddy Carlyle threw one-and-two-thirds scoreless innings.

David Wright played in the game again today and picked up a hit and an RBI. Neil Walker and Juan Lagares each drew a couple of walks and stole a base, with Lagares's steal coming on a successful first-and-third steal of second-and-home by the Met.s
