Mets daily spring training report, 3/6/16: Mets beat Braves

The Mets won their second Grapefruit League game by beating the Braves at home.

The Mets won another spring training game this afternoon, as they beat the visiting Braves in Port St. Lucie. Sean Gilmartin got the start and fared well, and the Mets scored five runs through the fifth inning. Chasen Bradford gave up four runs in the sixth, and Akeel Morris gave up a run in the seventh, but the Mets scored once in the bottom of the seventh and held on to that lead through the rest of the game.
